I’ve posted Entry #78 to my weekly Investing: The New Rules column at the Death by 1,000 Papercuts site. It’s called If You Absolutely Must Tell the Truth About Stock Investing, At Least Be Careful Not to Do It Too Loudly or Too Often.
Juicy Excerpt: So my blogger friend is advising me to post in such a way that I can be assured of being ineffectual. I don’t want to be ineffectual. I want to persuade. I want to help people. I want my words to make a difference. To borrow a phrase from a column from a few week’s back, I want to be catastrophically productive!
I suppose you could say that the Buy-and-Holders don’t object if you disagree so long as you don’t persuade anyone that they are wrong. But I want people to know that they are wrong! I want to achieve my objective. My objective is to bury Buy-and-Hold 30 feet in the ground, where it can do no further harm to humans and other living things.
