I’ve posted Entry #527 to my weekly Valuation-Informed Indexing column at the Value Walk site. It’s called You Don’t Have to Get It Right Twice for Market Timing to Succeed.
Juicy Excerpt: Market timers don’t have to guess at all. Market timing is an exercise in risk management, not guesswork. I would agree with my Buy-and-Hold friends that any strategy that requires guesswork is almost certainly not a good idea. But market timing is not such a strategy, at least not when it is employed in an intelligent manner.
