Juicy Excerpt: There was a turning point in the writing of the article. Usually, I like to start with a title. The title to a piece tells me where it is going to go. It sets the boundaries for what needs to be addressed. I had a hard time deciding on a title for that article. I tried writing without making a final decision. That caused problems. The fact that I didn’t have a title caused me to feel a lack of confidence in the message that I was advancing. What was it that I wanted to say? I should be able to sum it up in a few words, to offer a concise version of the story. Those words should be the title.
