Set forth below is the text of a comment that I recently posted to the discussion thread for another blog entry at this site:
Should we say that only Rob Bennett decides what the peer-reviewed research says?
I say that it says that valuations affect long-term returns. Do you say that it says something different?

Rob Bennett is the foremost expert on all the research. The world needs to keep it zipped unless they are in agreement with Rob.
I strongly believe that I was right in what I started saying on the morning of May 13, 2002, that the Greaney retirement study lacks a valuation adjustment. And I believe that it is important that people have accurate and honest studies to use in planning their retirements.
I don’t even a tiny bit believe that people who don’t agree with me should keep it zipped. I want to learn as much as I can about this stuff and people who challenge me help me to do that. I don’t think that anyone should ever do anything to discourage anyone else from expressing his or her sincere beliefs. That sort of thing holds us all back.
Where I’m coming from.
