Set forth below is the text of a comment that I recently posted to the discussion thread for another blog entry at this site:
ValueWalk informed me this morning that they will no longer be running my weekly column on Valuation-Informed Indexing. This makes me sad. I have learned a great deal and had a lot of fun writing the column.
I am grateful to ValueWalk for running it as long as they did. It’s been going for 15 years.
Rob

Did they give any reason why they were no longer running the column?
Well, clearly that was a waste of 15 years. You were not getting paid and you didn’t get any followers after all those articles. That just adds to your track record of having a 100% failure rate.
The explanation was vague. They said they were following a new editorial direction.

I couldn’t possibly disagree more. Writing the column was an amazing learning experience that I will always be grateful for.

Will you create any new articles for this site or will every entry now begin “Set forth below is the text of a comment that I recently posted to the discussion thread for another blog entry at this site”?
I do not intend at this time to be crafting new articles. I believe that Shiller’s Nobel-prize-winning research is legitimate research and that there will come a day when every site permits honest posting re the peer-reviewed research. At that time there will be advances coming in from every possible direction. I will certainly be writing about that stuff when the time comes. But that’s obviously not where things stand today.
