The Stock-Selling Industry is in all likelihood never going to on its own come clean about the mistakes that were made in the development of the Buy-and-Hold Model (although my sense is that many financial planners would personally like to move forward). Yet the continued promotion of Buy-and-Hold threatens to cause The Second Great Depression. We need to get political thought leaders involved in the effort to open the internet to honest posting on the flaws in Buy-and-Hold and on what we need to do to make the transition to the Rational Model.
