Is the investing advice you listen to advice that was developed to make you an effective investor? Or is it advice that was developed to sell something?
Usually it’s some of both. That’s a problem.

A fellow named Law Talkin’ Guy put a comment this morning to yesterday’s blog entry that relates to the question of whether Motley Fool and Morningstar (and other site and blog owners) can be held liable for the consequences of their failure to administer their site administration rules in a reasonable manner after they became aware of the defamatory and threatening posts being put forward by Mel Lindauer and John Greaney to block honest posting on the analytical errors in the Old School retirement studies (and other important investing topics) at the Indexing and Retire Early discussion boards.
